SOLD OUT Homemade Sausage Workshop

Here’s your chance to see how the sausage is made, so to speak. This class will give you hands-on experience with butchering, grinding meat, flavoring sausages, and working with casings to make homemade bratwurst, chorizo, breakfast sausage links, and Italian sausage.

Jon will lead you through a demonstration of butchering pork shoulder for sausage making, then you’ll get to try your hand at breaking down the meat and grinding it up. You’ll make a variety of sausage flavors and stuff casings to create sausage links to take home with you! During class, we’ll also cook some of the sausage we make to enjoy for dinner together.

On the menu:

  • Bratwurst (& Bratwurst Burgers on Pretzel Buns)

  • Breakfast Sausage

  • Hot or Mild Italian Sausage

  • Chorizo (& Chorizo Street Tacos)

Classes are BYOB. This class can accommodate students with gluten-free diets. Please leave a note at checkout if this applies to you or anyone in your group. Please contact us if you have any questions about dietary restrictions.
