Amanda will teach you how to create two irresistible tart variations: a decadent chocolate pate sucree (sweet tart crust) with luscious chocolate ganache filling, and a classic vanilla pate sucree filled with pastry cream and fresh fruit.
Throughout the class, you'll learn essential techniques for working with tart dough, from mixing and chilling to rolling it out and molding it into perfect tart shells. You’ll also learn how to make gorgeous, silky vanilla pastry cream and versatile chocolate ganache, then discover the art of filling your tarts with precision and finesse. Amanda is a wealth of baking knowledge and will share tips along the way to help you create variations, troubleshoot common baking pitfalls, and keep your gorgeous tarts from turning soggy.
By the end of the class, you'll leave with your own handmade tarts to enjoy at home, and the skills and confidence to create an array of tart variations for any occasion.
