SOLD OUT Flatbreads & Phulkas (Saturday 3/9 6-9p)

In this class, you’ll learn how to make a variety of Indian flatbreads and delicious accompaniments that will become staples in your weeknight cooking. With just 4 pantry ingredients and less than 15 minutes, you can easily make flatbreads at home. You’ll get to practice making a classic Indian flatbread dough, then we’ll turn it into a variety of flavorful flatbreads:

  • Puffy charred phulkas

  • Herby malabar parathas

  • Aloo parathas stuffed to the brim with seasoned potatoes

We’ll then pair our flatbreads with accompaniments for dipping, scooping, spreading, and topping:

  • Split lentils (daal)

  • Refreshing spiced yogurt (raita)

  • Spicy quick pickles (athela marcha)

  • Roasted eggplant dip (bhaingan bharta)

This class is vegetarian and can accommodate vegan students. Please leave a note at checkout if this applies to you or anyone in your group. This class cannot accommodate gluten-free students.
