If your goal is to reduce food waste, eat more veggies, or learn new kitchen skills, this is the class for you! Pickling and fermenting are essential skills for preserving vegetables all throughout the winter. Get ready to nerd out on food science with Jackie as she leads you through an intro to lacto-fermentation, quick pickle brines, ways to switch up your pickle flavors, and so many tips for pickling just about anything. You’ll get to create your own vegetable pickles and ferments and head home with several jars of goodies to enjoy.

*Please note: While we’ll have snacks available to eat during class and will snack on pickles while we make them, we won’t sit down to a complete meal in this class. You may want to eat beforehand!
