Fennel is excited to welcome kids into the kitchen with new classes tailored for 8-12 year-old budding chefs! In this hands-on class, kids will dive into the art of pasta making, learning how to craft homemade “00” pasta dough and shape it into hand-formed shapes like cavatelli, orecchiette, and trofie. After shaping and rolling fresh pasta dough, students will prepare homemade pesto and fresh tomato basil sauces to pair with their pasta. Lastly, everyone will get to enjoy the fruits of their labor as students sit down to a pasta dinner together. Through helpful demonstrations and hands-on cooking practice, kids will not only expand their culinary skills but also cultivate a love for cooking from scratch.
This class is open to students ages 8-12, each ticket is for one student. Students will eat dinner in class and will go home with a recipe packet to recreate class dishes at home!
