In this class, you’ll learn how to make a variety of Indian flatbreads and delicious accompaniments that will become staples in your weeknight cooking. With just 4 pantry ingredients and less than 15 minutes, you can easily make flatbreads at home. You’ll get to practice making a classic Indian flatbread dough, then we’ll turn it into a variety of flavorful flatbreads:
Puffy charred phulkas
Herby malabar parathas
Aloo parathas stuffed to the brim with seasoned potatoes
We’ll then pair our flatbreads with accompaniments for dipping, scooping, spreading, and topping:
Split lentils (daal)
Refreshing spiced yogurt (raita)
Spicy quick pickles (athela marcha)
Roasted eggplant dip (bhaingan bharta)
Classes are BYOB. This class is vegetarian and can accommodate vegan students. Please leave a note at checkout if this applies to you or anyone in your group. This class cannot accommodate gluten-free students.
